LIVERPOOL STILL LOVES CRUISE SHIPS

Every time there is a cruise ship calling at Liverpool the crowds turn in their thousands to admire these wonders of engineering, last week was the turn of P & O CRUISES "ARCADIA" and again the population didn´t disappoint, there is a special connection to the sea and shipping from the people of Liverpool, I love it, please click link on post below for further pictures of ARCADIA´s visit

CRUISE SHIP CROWN PRINCESS IN LIVERPOOL TODAY


the PRINCESS CRUISES "CROWN PRINCESS" is in the city today for her third and last visit this year, she docked at 6.30 am with a beautiful morning, of course being saturday all was very quite, I felt like the city was mine and this was incredible

CRUISE SHIP "AIDAblu" VISITED LIVERPOOL YESTERDAY



the city of Liverpool received the visit of the cruise ship AIDAblu yesterday, she came early in the morning and left the city at 7pm, once again a crowd turned up to see the ship, she was very popular with young teenagers, she´s back in the city for the second visit of the year on the 27th, photos taken on the 13th August 2011

BUSY SCHEDULE FOR TUG KERNE

The amazing steam tug KERNE has a busy schedule from the end of August until the 16th of September, program as follows:
30th of August at 10.30 KERNE will steam from Liverpool Sandon Dock to Ellesmere Port and Manchester

From the 31st of August until the 3rd of September the ship will be open to the public at Salford Quays adjacent to the Lowry and Media City

Sunday the 4th September at 10am KERNE will sail back to Ellesmere Port and Sandon Dock Liverpool

Thursday the 8th of September in the afternoon KERNE will sail from Sandon Dock to Canning Dock in preparation for the Liverpool River Festival which will take place from the 9th to the 16th September
