"QUEEN VICTORIA" in Liverpool to remember the RMS "AQUITANIA"

This weekend just ending was a spectacular one for the city of Liverpool and CUNARD with the visit of the 2007 built QUEEN VICTORIA. To celebrate the 100 years of the maiden voyage of another very famous CUNARD ship, the RMS "AQUITANIA", this beautiful ship nicknamed the "SHIP BEAUTIFUL" departed Liverpool on the 31.5.1914. QUEEN VICTORIA arrived on the 30th was treated to a warm welcome and fireworks later in the evening. Yesterday she left at about 3.45 pm with thousands wishing her "Bon Voyage" not just at the Cruise Terminal, but also at Birkinhead and New Brighton.
